Altea Packaging joins the BeMed College of Companies!
Committed to reducing its environmental impact and that of its products, Altea Packaging joins BeMed College and is thus part of a higher impact collaborative action to reduce plastic pollution.
The BeMed College was born in 2019 from the association of several foundations including the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Tara Ocean Foundation, Surfrider Foundation.... Its mission is to support and network the actors involved in the fight against plastic pollution in the Mediterranean to implement effective and sustainable actions and promote the search of new alternatives.
This membership is an opportunity to intensify science-industry discussions, exchange with a large network of companies working on the whole plastic value chain, think with leading scientific experts and share our know-how as a packaging converter involved in this chain.
Indeed, Altea Packaging has developed ecological substitutes for packaging by working on source reduction and recyclability/biodegradability of materials. Particularly, we propose ecological barrier packaging, substitute packaging eliminating aluminum layers and based on recyclable materials made of mono-materials or compatible materials (paper or recyclable films).
Joining BeMed College is the result of a strong desire to act as an eco-responsible actor, fully committed to and for its Mediterranean and the international environment.
Altea Packaging enhance its commitment to sustainable development by joining the BeMed College
