Recycled cities, Ecological packaging (Start-up’s summit in Aix-en-Provence)
"How to act concretely against the pollution of cities?", "Should we ban plastics or packaging in general?", were the issues raised during the start-up summit in Aix-en-Provence in France, co-organized by Challenges and Sciences et Avenir in 2019 and dedicated to recycled cities.
Slim Zeghal, CEO of Altea Packaging, had replied "the solution is not zero plastic. We need to reduce packaging at source and develop more recyclable alternatives based on mono-materials or compatible materials".
Offering ecological barrier packaging that ensures recyclability and availability at an acceptable price has been Altea Packaging's priority in recent years. Today, with the rise in aluminium prices and its lack of availability, the market environment is more than favorable for the adoption of these new solutions.
"After a hard work of research and industrial tests in close collaboration with our customers and suppliers, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new aluminium-free, recyclable and ecological product lines", says our R&D Director, Moncef Marrakchi.
